• When you register for a session: your first name and email address. A WhatsApp number only if you choose to give one.
• When you apply for coaching: the answers you provide in the application form, including your trading experience and goals.
• Automatically: pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser information, and advertising identifiers set by cookies.

We do not ask for, and you should never send us, your trading account passwords or card details.

• To reserve your seat and send you the session link and reminders.
• To answer you when you get in touch.
• To measure which of our adverts and pages actually work.
• To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with the service providers below, only so they can do a job for us:

• Google — registrations are stored in Google Sheets, and we use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand site usage.
• Resend — delivers our confirmation and reminder emails.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — see the advertising section below.
• Clerk — sign-in for the client portal and coaching area.
• Neon and Render — hosting and the database behind the coaching area.
• UploadThing — stores files you upload inside the portal.

Some of these providers process information outside South Africa. We rely on their contractual data-protection commitments when that happens.

We advertise on Meta platforms. Our website contains the Meta pixel, which records page views and registrations so we can tell which adverts lead to sign-ups.

We share information with advertising partners for measurement and audience building. Specifically: when you register, a securely hashed version of your email address may be sent to Meta so a conversion can be matched to an advert; and we may upload contact lists of existing clients to Meta, in hashed form, to build audiences and to exclude people who have already registered from seeing our adverts.

Hashing means the address is converted into an irreversible string before it is sent. If you would rather we did not include you in this, email us and we will remove you.

You can also limit ad tracking in your Meta account settings and in your browser or device privacy settings.

Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and clicking it stops further session emails. You can also reply to any email and ask us to remove you.

Registration and application records are kept while you are engaging with us and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Under POPIA you may ask us to:

• tell you what information we hold about you;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• delete your information;
• stop sending you marketing;
• stop sharing your information with advertising partners.

Email support@2gs-trading.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
